   ******************************

After the talk we have tea, coffee and biscuits and a chance to chat to Members.  At each meeting we have a friendly competition - see Competitions page for details.

There is also a sales table if any Members have plants or garden produce  or garden equipment which is surplus to requirements.

The Gardening Society is managed by a small voluntary committee, drawn from the membership, who are always delighted to hear from potential new members, and to hear of new ideas for activities.

Each year a day outing is arranged to a notable garden or gardens. We have visited RHS Garden at Rosemoor, Highgrove, Barrington Court and Compton Acres.

Evening outings are also arranged and in recent years the Society has visited the University of Bristol Botanic Garden, Kilver Court (Shepton Mallet), Holt Farm Organic Garden (Blagdon).

The Society is a member of the Somerset Federation of Gardening Clubs.
